About Expat Shield

Expat Shield Insurance LLC is a U.S.-based insurance agency focused on one thing: international life and health coverage for expatriates living outside their country of nationality. All of our agents are U.S. licensed.

We don't underwrite policies or pay claims: that's the carrier's job. Our role is to compare plans across multiple international carriers and place you with the one that fits. We're paid a commission by the carrier when a policy is placed; there's no separate fee for a quote or for talking through your options, and the commission doesn't change which plans we bring to you.
